Transformers Cybertron convention 2012

the cyberton convention will be held in Singapore from 11-14 march 2012. i am invited to participate for a build up of the latest hasbro optimus prime model kit. in this diorama, i intend to build a diorama of optimus prime vs sentinel prime. here's a quick preview of what i have done:)

sg mid year mg competition 2010

the gundam competition has named as mg competition as all mg such as figurine and patlabor are able to participate in the contest:) here're the entires;)

my entries in singapore mid year mg competition 2010

these will be my entries for the mid year competition. the competition allows all entries from bandai mg series, inclusive of the figurine. therefore, i have decided to send in the mg son goku and a zaku mg that i thought adding char figure in, but i dun think i have much time to do that:(


for mg son goku, i have sealed up the join area after deciding the final post and some minor resculting. it's not much of a dynamic posture, but rather a simple posture that give an impression that "dun mess with me";)



this is a first version zaku that i bought few years back. the mod is done at the torso and elbow joint for better aesthetic look. i'm trying to put as many weapon as i can find in the box for the concept of "the last space operation":)

GCON 2009-final

GCON 2009 was held last Sunday, 27 Sep 2009 at MWorkshop, Singapore. the event serves as a gathering for all the modellers, concurrently providing an opportunity to introduce the resin materials in gundam modelling. i will like to thank all the participants for supporting this event and looking forwards to 2010 for another gk contest with more categories. cheers:)

a group build caters for gundam conversion and full resin gundam of any scale in singapore. deadline is 27 september 2009:-)

mid year singapore gundam competititon 2009-sangokuden

i have just collected my sangokuden entry and display them at mworkshop.;-)

the color scheme is the same as the original artwork, except the soldiers which i have given a more earth tone.

mid year singapore gundam competititon 2009

i have been rushing on the mid year gundam contest lately and today is the submission. there're still more to be done on them, especially on the battle damaged, i will only be able to work on them after the contest. apologised that i have no time to take the completed diorama, but only the wip one.

there are 2 categories-gundam 00 and sangokuden. i have chosen sangokuden coz i have not done any sd contest before.

in the early stage, i do have a mental lock on wanting to create a fierce scene for the sd as they are already cute in nature. instead of going against the cuteness, i decided to add in the fun element-joy. bearing in mind of the limited movement for sd models, i want to build a diorama with joy that are shared among soldierhood. whether the battle is win or lose, they go in together and come out together. this diorama showcases a happy facial eyes expression on both the generals and soldiers while walking together. it somehow bonds all the brotherhood together. thus, the title of my entry is called HAPPY RETREAT.

i will update on the completed diorama once i touched up on them.;-)
